What are the disadvantages of using a cellphone?

By cellphone, I believe you mean smartphone, right? The majority of people these days use smartphones on a daily basis. They use them to chat, to keep in touch with their friends, coworkers and family members no matter where they are.
I know that many people regard it as a positive trend as we're more and more connected with one another. However, I believe that, in a way, smartphones have pushed people apart.
Just think of a scenario. We're dining out with our friends in a restaurant, we're sitting at the same table, but it's very likely that we're all on our phones, checking our social media, commenting on other people's pictures or videos, but we're not talking with each other.
I honestly don't think this is good. We should try to interact more with the people around us, rather than those in the virtual world.
